Weihenstephan German Beer

Furstenberg

Brewed in the heart of the Black Forest in Germany, Fürstenberg is a crisp, refreshing, classic Pilsner that is recognised around the world as one the best lagers available. It has become increasingly popular in the North West, appearing in many micro pubs and bars in the region.

Whilst craft beer had its big surge a few years ago, there is a trend now for traditional styles of beer from the original brewing regions. Josef Munz began brewing Fürstenberg Pilsner in the late 19th Century and was one of the first to do so in Germany.

At 5.3% ABV this lager has more character and flavour than most and the addition of slightly more malt gives it a wonderfully rich colour. The perfect partner to pretzels, wurst, cheese and sun!
